Renowned highlife performer Amakye Dede is getting ready to wow music lovers in December with a thrilling show.
On December 22, 2023, the Platinum Bay Hotel at Abokobi in Accra will host the “6-Strings & Drums” event, which will feature the “Iron Boy” as the main act.
The purpose of this concert is to honor highlife, a genre of music unique to Ghana. “6 Strings & Drums” aims to introduce visitors to the rich genre brewed in Ghana as a part of the December celebrations in Ghana.
Afriyie, K Bless, KK Fosu, and Ofori Amponsah will all be performing at the event.
One of the hottest comedians in Ghana, OB Amponsah, will add a dash of humor to the musical acts.
Amakye Dede, who is renowned for his captivating performances, will play a selection of his song catalog. Song performances of Iron Boy, Handkerchief, Odo Nti Na Me Su, Ohoho Batani, and Akodaa Wesewa will delight the audience.
Every two years, the Ready To Perform, 6 String & Drums edition presents some of the greatest Ghanaian music from various historical periods, accompanied by incredible performances.
