During the 54th Climate Reality Leadership Training in Accra, renowned Ghanaian singer and Climate Clock Ambassador Okyeame Kwame had the honor of meeting former US Vice President Al Gore.
A wonderful group of scientists, specialists, and young leaders from all around Africa came together for this important event, which took place from November 13–15, 2023, to learn about the most recent developments in climate science, examine current policy, and pinpoint potential for climate activism.
Okyeame Kwame, a global symbol in the fight against climate change, revealed his delight about meeting Al Gore, a man whose passion for environmental protection is deeply ingrained in his music and advocacy.
As an ambassador for the Dedicated Grant Mechanism (DGM), a World Bank initiative led by Solidaridad that promotes sustainable agricultural practices in cocoa-growing communities, he increased his activism for climate change in 2018.
The “made in Ghana” rapper is currently actively involved in climate education programs in Ghanaian schools, enabling the next generation of environmental champions to take up environmental stewardship.

Additionally, he has started a tree-planting campaign in which he invites kids to help plant and care for trees, encouraging them to feel responsible for protecting the environment.
Known for their remarkable inventiveness in entertainment, some of Ghana’s best musicians will perform at the event, which is being organized by Citi FM/Citi TV.
As the official Christmas party, the Citiuation All White Outdoor Party has grown to be an annual event that attracts guests from all walks of life who are excited to witness the magic that happens every year.
