Gospel singer Diana Asamoah has said that she was misled by incorrect teachings from preachers in her early Christian life, including the late prophet Emmanuel Kwaku Apraku, popularly known as “Apraku My Daughter,” and other figures. This is why Diana didn’t have decent fashion until lately.
Diana Asamoah recently said that some of the beliefs she internalized from her early Christian upbringing had an impact on her bad sense of style during an appearance on Joy Prime’s Prime Morning program.
“When I gave my life to Christ, there were a lot of false doctrines. Apraku My Daughter was the famous pastor by then. So, my church invited him, and when he came, he said that a dwarf took him to a forest where it was revealed to him that ladies’ hair cream is made of blood, the powder is from the ashes of human bones, including make-up products and others, and he made us understand that anyone involved in such things wouldn’t make it to heaven,” she told the host, Roselyn Felli.

Diana, a recent convert, said that because she was unfamiliar with and ignorant of God’s word, she was overcome with anxiety.
“I didn’t wear makeup at the time because Apraku My Daughter said they were produced by ‘Maame Water’ [Marine spirits] and so when you do it, you will go into the river and not heaven,” she said.
Her perspective of these matters was, however, changed by her interaction with a preacher named Ato Haggan and his more in-depth teachings from the Bible.
Diana Asamoah has a reputation for being somewhat modest about her appearance up until lately. All of that, though, has altered in the last few years, and Diana Asamoah—who has long opposed makeup and wig wear among other fashion trends—has become more fashionable than ever.
