A young man identified as the lover of a District Police Commander was discovered dead in her room.
His body was found in his girlfriend’s bedroom in an official police residence in Kpetoe, Volta Region, on Thursday, October 26, 2023.
The girlfriend in question, [name withheld], works as a superintendent of police and was allegedly out of town when the event occurred.
She is currently Kpetoe’s District Police Commander.
Billy Bless has been identified as the dead, who is believed to have been her fiancé.
The Ho Teaching Hospital (HTH) mortuary has already received the body for preservation and autopsy.

Billy Bless, a former Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) employee in his mid-40s, was the son of the late Gbi Paramount Chief, Togbega Gabusu VI.
What happened?
Sources close to the police command and the District Security Council (DISEC) claim that on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, Billy Bless visited the Superintendent of Police in Ho.
According to reports, the police officer travelled to Ho to see her sick father.
According to sources from GraphicOnline monitored by ATL FM,, Billy Bless left the Superintendent of Police and her father without informing them where he was headed.
But he travelled to Kpetoe and told the driver of the police commander that he was going to stay the night at her official apartment.
The deceased was then given the keys to the residence by the police driver.
When the police driver noticed the key had not been placed in the customary location the following day, he phoned the police commander, who was still in Ho at the time, to inform her of the strange turn of events.
Carpenter’s assistance
According to reports, the Superintendent of Police then asked the driver to seek the aid of a carpenter to unlock the door, which he did.
When they entered the house, they discovered that the bedroom was locked. When the door was pushed open, the deceased’s body was discovered in the bedroom.
