The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has one more time rescheduled its planned protest to demand the resignation of the governors of the Bank of Ghana.
The new set date for their protest is Tuesday, October 3, 2023.
This latest date comes at the back of the commencement of the limited voter registration exercise.
The planned protest had earlier been postponed to Tuesday, September 12, 2023, because of a police injunction against the chosen route of the demonstration over national security concerns.
Announcing the new plan in a press statement, the Chairman of the Party, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah stated that “the change of date was necessitated by the commencement of the Limited Voters Registration Exercise to be organized by the Electoral Commission which starts on the same day as the original date of the protest.”
