The Metropolitan Police has stated that a 31-year-old Ghanaian woman was fatally stabbed in south London in the United Kingdom (UK).
On Monday, May 1, in the late afternoon, Johanita Kossiwa Dogbey was slain on Stockwell Park Walk in Brixton.
The deceased was the founder of the Odette Foundation, a nonprofit organization that assisted sickle cell patients in Ghana and Togo.
According to reports, Johanita was on the phone with her grandma as she was on her way home after purchasing a gift for her mother’s birthday.
She was a few metres away from her house when a man by the name of Mohamed Nur attacked her from behind.

“Mr Nur, 33, is also accused of another count of possession of an offensive weapon and causing grievous bodily harm to three people, last Saturday.”
