The National Sports Authority’s representative in central region Mr. Alexander Tieku has confirmed that the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has shut down the electricity power of Cape Coast Stadium.
The NSA boss of central region admitted that the authority is owing ECG about ₵513,000.

Speaking on ATLFM SPORTS, Mr. Tieku, revealed that the authority has been owing EGC since the construction of the stadium. He mentioned that some national teams are owing some utility bills, Kotoku Royals have also not settled all their debts at the stadium after using the stadium to play their home matches.
The NSA have reportedly put measures in place to help restore normalcy at the stadium.
