After a 19-month rise, inflation dropped for the second time in 2023 in February, at 52.8%.
The Consumer Price Index for February 2023, according to data from the Ghana Statistical Service, was 168.7 compared to 110.4 for February 2022 using the linked series.
This indicates that the general price level was 52.8% higher in February 2023 than it was in February 2022.

During January 2023 and February 2023, there was a 1.9% decline in monthly inflation. This was included in the data that the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) published on March 15, 2023, on Wednesday.
Per the data, food inflation also stood at 59.1% and Non- food inflation stood at 47.9%
