Winner of the maiden edition of Miss Grand Ghana, Zahara-Imani Bossman-Pinkrah as part of her quest to help the needy in society, has visited the living hope international orphanage in Elmina to donate some items to the children there.
Living Hope International orphanage provides humanitarian relief, emotional nurturing, and the opportunity for a brighter future through education and enrichment programs for orphans and needy children.
The Items donated to the orphanage over the weekend include; several packs of essential food provisions, toiletries, and other confectionaries to support the children at the orphanage.
Speaking exclusively to ATL FM NEWS after the donation, she said the gesture was a token of her own effort to help the needy and underprivileged in society and also to kick-start her foundation, the Zahara-Imani Foundation.
“So I am currently starting a new foundation called the Zaharimani Foundation, and the main aim of the foundation is to reach out to people and they’re the reason why people smile in the little way that we can. So I wanted to start with this donation, something small to pave the way for greater projects to come.” She said.
Therefore, she urged others to emulate her gesture of helping the needy in society and not be discouraged.
Zahara-Imani Bossman-Pinkrah is of the “view that when God gives you something to a point, you should be able to lend others and open your arms. Because when your hands are closed, then there’s no reason or wait for something else to fall into your hands.”
She further urged the children at the orphanage to keep up with their dreams and motivate themselves to achieve their individual goals.
On his part, the director for Living Hope International, Daddy Kwame expressed his appreciation to Ms. Zahara-Imani for her gesture saying the items would impact the lives of the children in the home.
Together with the children and caretakers of this orphanage, we say a very big thank you, and may God bless you in more ways than one, he added.
Fully licensed under the authority of Social Welfare, the living home international orphanage also has a school and engaged in different outreach programs such as preaching, visitation to the sick, and caring for formula babies who need support.
