The police have apprehended two people shown in a viral video, one of whom was dressed in black with police insignia.
Marcus Dankwah, the person shown in the attire, is not a police officer and is presently in custody alongside his accomplice, Pascal Nelson. A search of them resulted in the retrieval of the clothing.
According to preliminary inquiry, the aforementioned video footage, which came from a TikTok account branded as the official page of Vzonetv and was disseminated on multiple social media platforms, was shot on October 18, 2022.
The accused are also social media content producers who create videos for their online TV channel Vzonetv, according to investigations.

As the investigation continues to establish the source of the attire and prepare the suspects to face justice, we would like to caution the public against acts that tend to injure the reputation of the Ghana Police Service.
