Prices of petroleum products are anticipated to get mixed reviews at gas stations beginning this weekend (2nd July, 2022).

The price per liter of petrol is anticipated to decrease by over 8 percent.
The price of a kilogram of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) may fall by more than 7 percent.
Diesel will rise in price by more than 3 percent per liter.

According to Joy Business, the fall in the price of petrol and LPG has been affected by favorable worldwide market developments.
Beginning this weekend, it is hoped that the more than 150 Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) would pass on these price reductions to customers.
On June 16, 2022, the cost of petroleum-based goods increased by around 11 percent.
Currently, petrol costs around ¢11 per litre, while diesel costs approximately ¢14.
Crude oil is now selling at 117 dollars a barrel, but the cedi has assumed some stability following rumors that the government may pursue an International Monetary Fund program.
