Spotify, the music and podcast streaming platform, has been in Ghana for exactly a year, and the company has released some data on how Ghanaian music has fared during that time.
KiDi’s ‘Touch it’ was the most exported solo track from Ghana at the time.
According to Spotify, the song was most popular among users in India, the United States, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Mexico.
Meanwhile, Amaarae’s SAD GIRLZ LUV MONEY, which features Kali Uchis and Moliy, is the most widely exported collaboration, with the most plays in the United States, Mexico, Brazil, India, and the United Kingdom.
