The lawsuit, which involves 499 grieved law students, has been rescheduled until November 19, 2021.
This will allow the students’ attorneys to analyze the Attorney General‘s response to their claim.
The students say they passed the law school entrance exams but were refused admission, an allegation that has subsequently been refuted.
Parliament then authorized the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Godfred Dame, to take efforts to guarantee that they are admitted to the General Legal Council by a resolution.
The Attorney General has also slammed the decree, claiming that Parliament lacks the jurisdiction to issue such a directive.
Mr. Dame, on the other hand, presented strong signals that President Akufo-Addo had issued directions to resolve the impasse.
