Prophet Dr. Emmanuel Badu Kobi, the Founder and General Overseer of Glorious Wave Church International, has informed his detractors that there is no prophet without a failed prophesy.
He challenged his detractors to name a single prophet who has never failed to fulfill a prophecy.
His remarks came after his detractors ridiculed him on social media for his poor predictions about Brazil and England.
Badu Kobi predicted that Brazil and England will win the just concluded Copa America and Euro 2020 tournaments, respectively.
However, this prophesy failed when Argentina defeated Brazil in the Copa America finals and Italy defeated England to win the European Cup.
He has replied to criticism by claiming that, with the exception of these two, all of his football predictions have come true.
“There is no football prophecy I have said which has never come to pass except these two,” he said during his sermon on Sunday, July 18.
He went on to say, “There is no prophet without a failed prophesy, are you, God?” They should bring one over to me.
“If every prophecy had come true, every church member would have been successful.”
