A young man suspected to be in his 20s has been killed and left in the middle of the road close to the Metro Mass transport terminal in Cape Coast.
The cause of death is unknown however, our news reporter Aba Aikins Appah who was at the scene of the incident early Wednesday reports that some residents who live close believe the deceased was lynched by a mob after he was caught stealing.
Some residents claim they heard loud screams in the middle of the night which they believe might have come from the deceased while he was struggling for his life from his attackers.
Meanwhile, there was no police presence at the scene when ATLMNEWS visited. Some by standers reported seeing the police but they left shortly after arriving. As at the time of filing, the body was still at the scene.
