Kenneth Kyeremanteng who is known in public life as Kwame Yogot has mentioned that Kuami Eugene of Lynxx Entertainment fame gave him his major nationwide hit hence he showers praises on him.
Biibi Besi, is one of the latest songs that seems to be making a lot of airwaves in the Ghanaian music space currently. The song which features Lynxx Entertainment‘s Kuami Eugene highlights the struggles that one has to go through to survive.
Speaking on University of Cape Coast-based radio station, ATL FM on the Entertainment Zone show, last Saturday, Kwame Yogot was full of praise for Kuami Eugene for blessing him with that chorus and assisting in the music promotion to make it a hit song.
“I have worked with many artistes, but it is evident that the song I featured Kuami Eugene has brought me the biggest hit and recognition in the country. I had done a lot of songs with many artistes, and i was quite sceptical about this one. I had no idea that it would become a nationwide hit” he mentioned speaking in Twi.
He also revealed that unfortunately for him, during the music video shoot of “Biibi Besi”, a lot of people had congratulated him for bringing out such a good song. He added that he was shocked because he had wanted to release the music video and the song at the same time.
“We had finished doing the song sometime last year, but I couldn’t release it for some strange reasons. I even have songs with Samini and the likes that we are scheduled to release, but when we were on set shooting the music video on that Friday, I started receiving calls from many people congratulating me and some also telling me they had heard the song playing live on some radio stations in Accra” he stated.
