In a series of letters between the Chairman of the audit service board, Prof. Edward Dua Agyeman and Mr. Domelevo, the audit service board claimed that his date of birth was in 1960. Mr. Domelevo says that his birth date is on June 1, 1961 as that day is his correct birth day. When he checked his birth records in the baptismal registry of the Catholic Church in Adeemmra, he found the 1960 date of birth was an error, he said.
The Board also noticed that the city of Mr. Domelevo’s home is Agbetofe, but now Ada, in the Greater Accra area. “I was born in Kumasi and my mother in less than three weeks after my birth, returned to Kwahu Adeemmra and I was baptized in June 1961,” Mr. Domelevo added.
Given the reviews, the former health practitioner will also be deemed a retired official due to the end of his term in June of 2020.
He said he would be basing his observations on available documents.
“As far as we know, the documents are authentic, our information is authentic, he should have retired in 2020, and therefore he is deemed to have retired,” Prof. Dua Agyeman said.
