Five Ejuraman Anglican Senior High School (SHS) pupils are being treated in hospital after the school’s dining hall structure collapsed on Monday evening.
According to Kwadwo Baffoe Donkor of Graphic Online, the pupils were brought to the Ejura Government Hospital‘s Emergency Unit.
The five were among 200 pupils in the dining hall.

Thirty-five students were allegedly injured when the ceiling of the improvised building that served as the school’s dining hall caved in.
The event occurred on Monday about 5 p.m., amid a rainstorm.
Supper was ready to be served to the pupils.
Apart from the five students whose injuries are severe and necessitate hospitalization, 35 other students experienced minor injuries and trauma.
The incident and the condition of the injured pupils were confirmed by Akwasi Frimpong, the Municipal Health Director.
